Living Your Dia Life

Curvicality Fashion -Your go-to source for the latest plus-size trends, runway looks, outfit ideas and all-around fashion inspiration.
Perhaps you’re a plus-size woman who has always been able to easily find clothes that fit you well and express your style.

Perhaps.

But we are betting not!

Nadia Boujarwah, CEO and co-founder of Dia&Co., shared the frustration most of us have experienced.

I’ve always loved fashion, but struggled to find clothes that fit my body and worked with my personal style,” Boujarwah tells Curvicality. “I’ve been everything from a size 12 to a size 22 and I couldn’t help but notice, no matter my size, that there was nothing for me.”

Some of us just resigned ourselves to wearing clothes we weren’t really thrilled with. But not Boujarwah.

“So instead, I co-founded Dia&Co in 2015 as a way for women just like me to embrace their individuality. It grew out of a personal need and now, Dia&Co is a place where everyone can explore all the incredible things that style can really do. We believe that style is more than just the clothes you wear. Style is owning who you are and how you see the world. At Dia, we are committed to helping you realize your personal style.”

There are two ways to shop Dia. The company is best known for its monthly boxes. You get the convenience that comes by having a personal stylist who understands what you like.

But what if you suddenly have a special occasion come up and you need something specific? Maybe it’s a job interview, a friend’s wedding or a hot date. Or maybe you just have an itch for something new right now.

No worries. There’s no need to wait for a monthly box. You can also shop Dia online as you would at any online store.

Shop From Home Safely and Conveniently

Shop Now is part of Dia’s goal to improve the shopping experience for plus-size women. The changes in shopping caused by COVID-19 mean at-home shopping is now more attractive than ever.

“In the last few years there has been a dramatic shift to at home shopping,” Boujarwah says. “Dia provides customized shopping experiences to remove the stress around fit, for a joyful and fabulous experience. Whether you prefer to shop through subscription box service, e-commerce or even co-curation, we want to fully equip our customer to express herself through style. Now more than ever, people are loving the idea of getting service in their home. We offer the ability for customers to try things on in the comfort of their home, get service with stylists virtually, and engage with other members of the Dia community.”

Making connections

Engaging with the plus-size community is just as important to Boujarwah and Dia as it is to Curvicality. And Boujarwah has started a new cooking show to help connect and engage.

“I love to cook! So much so that I launched “Cooking + Cocktails” on Sundays at 8 p.m. on our Instagram channel. Every week I pick a recipe for a meal or cocktail and cook live with a guest. It’s been fun to try new recipes and meet new people. I’ve been enjoying finding new ways to engage with our community,” Boujarwah says.
