I saw a quote a few years ago that said “get on top; if he dies he dies.” My inner goddess was screaming “YESSS” as I immediately planned my photoshoot around this concept. Little did I know the impact it would have.
One of the questions I get quite often is how I learned to be so confident when it comes to being intimate with my partner. Most women I talk to want to know how they can overcome some insecurities and get on top. So, let’s talk about it!
I know that being naked in general can be intimidating for those of us who have struggled with body image, which FYI, is most humans (yes, men too). Add sex into the mix and I totally get that it can be a lot! I’m realizing now that I need to write an article on being naked and all of the amazing things it does for your confidence and health. But for now, let’s focus on the task at hand.
First things first,
YOU ARE WORTHY OF HAVING AMAZING SEX!
Repeat it, write it down, believe it! I feel the need to really drive that point home because in my opinion, women and oftentimes members of the queer community aren’t raised to feel empowered and equal when it comes to sexual pleasure and the power our incredible bodies have. I can only speak for myself but I know that when I became sexually active, I struggled a lot with this concept. So whether you are interested in a no-strings-attached relationship or a long-term partner, make sure you are with someone who appreciates you for you. It is your responsibility to feel comfortable with your body but it is absolutely your chosen partner’s responsibility to encourage this as well.
Assuming you have found a deserving partner who makes you feel comfortable and loves every inch of your beautiful body, it’s time to let go! Get naked, for crying out loud! Let the girls be free and please don’t worry about them rekindling their relationship with gravity. Let your FUPA do what your FUPA wants to do. Let your body be free to move! It is supposed to move and it’s sexy as hell when it does. Trust me when I tell you that you will get no complaints. And if you do, that fool never deserved you in the first place!
Being on top is often the most pleasurable position for women and let me be clear, YOUR PLEASURE SHOULD BE NON-NEGOTIABLE. Remember that communication is key for all parties involved. The more you talk about what works for you, the better the experience will be.
Are you on top yet? What are you waiting for?
Life is short, so you better get on top, put your beautiful body on display, let yourself be free and don’t forget to eat the cake too!
