Thank You Demi Lovato! You Are an Inspiration

Curvicality Body Love - How-to and inspirational articles on loving your plus-size body just as it is.
Congratulations, Demi, and thank you for sharing your challenge with your body image!

Recently, Demi Lovato posted to her Instagram account that her biggest fear was an unedited photo of her in a bikini. And she challenged that fear by posting a  photo of her simply beautiful bikini body.

Within hours, she received huge support globally for her photo and post. Her authenticity and ability to use her platform to challenge the norms in our society is commendable.

Fighting the battle of body shame and the societal views and pressures that define “beauty” is an ongoing process that many people, especially women, face daily. Loving you for who you are today gives you the freedom to be yourself and choose where you go from here.

We salute you, Demi, for your transparent honesty. We love you for taking a public stand for all people and encouraging us to love ourselves.

Being real and true to who we are is the surest way to find happiness and fulfillment in life. Helping others to feel good about themselves is a fantastic way to be a positive light in their world.

Demi, you are an inspiration to all of us, especially ladies with curves who are still coming to the realization that it’s OK to have curves.

Thank you from all of us in the Curvicality community.
